Description: The gorgeous, all-black male Crowntail Betta is best kept in a smaller aquarium. We recommend a tank or bowl that is at least five gallons large. If mixed with other fish in an aquarium, a filter must be present. When mixing other fish with bettas, you should avoid fish of similar size, such as dwarf gouramis. Also avoid mixing fish with long, flowy fins such as guppies. When mixing other fish with bettas, the best option is a fast-moving schooling fish that has short fins. The Black Orchid Crowntail Betta cannot be kept with other types of betta fish. Avoid using strong filtration as this fish prefers slow-moving water. A Betta care sheet will be provided with the order.
