Angels are by far the most popular and common cichlids and have been in the aquaria trade for decades, and come in a wide variety of colors. Smaller angels do better in groups, and should not be mixed with anything aggressive or nippy. As they grow they will become more aggressive, and will go after smaller fish in the tank.
