Description: A community bottom dwelling fish from the Botidae or Loach family. It is generally peaceful but may nip other smaller peaceful fish especially those with longer fins. Can be kept in larger groups of conspecifics in order to reduce aggression and promote social behavior. They are very active which is why larger tanks are encouraged for them long term. They should be kept with other peaceful community fish such as barbs, tetras, rasboras, plecos, and etc.
