Description: Oscars are large South American cichlids. The Albino Tiger Oscar has been selectively bred from Oscars to achieve a white colored body with red patterning and eyes. They are semi-aggressive and should be kept with other large tankmates, such as large barb species, sharks, and other large South American cichlids. This fish is an opportunistic predator. The Albino Tiger Oscar can start in a 55-gallon tank as young juveniles; however, this fish grows quickly, about an inch a month. Aquarists keeping Oscar cichlids will definitely have to upgrade the tank as the fish grows.
