Description: Red Tail Hemiodus are silvery with black patterning on their tail. These fish get their name from the distinct red stripe they get on their tail as they color up. These fish are active schoolers, and will do best in groups of 5 or more. Red Tail Hemiodus are jumpy and require a tight fitting lid. They get to around 7 inches when fully grown and will do well with most community fish.
