One of the more unique fish we carry, African Knifefish make an awesome addition to any oddball predatory tank. While they are predatory and will go after smaller fish, they are far from aggressive and must be kept in a more docile set-up with other similar sized predatory fish. They are mostly nocturnal, and use electric signals to sense their surroundings as they have poor eye sight, so a knife tube is highly recommended. This allows the knife to feel as if it is hiding, while still being visible to you! It is recommended to not keep this fish with any other knife fish or mormaryds, otherwise there may be aggression.
