Description: The Aureatus Sunshine Pleco is named after its bright orange-yellow fins and distinct yellow spots. This pleco originates from the Xingu River Basin in South America. These plecos are omnivorous and will thrive on a mixed diet of both meaty and veggie-based foods. They can be territorial with conspecifics, so take caution mixing them with other plecos. Plecos are typically nocturnal and most active in the evenings. This fish will appreciate plenty of hiding places and driftwood.
