Common Sailfin Plecos are known to eat algae off the glass and decor. Take caution adding them to smaller tanks, as they can get up to 20 inches when fully grown, and will grow quickly. They have a thick "armor" and are also known as the armored catfish. Common Plecos will mix well with most fish in the appropriately sized tank.
