Description: The Flame Cardinal is a vibrant, red fish that originates from the Caribbean. A great semi-aggressive, reef-safe fish for beginners and experts alike. Do not mix with other species of cardinal fish, as they will fight. Flame Cardinalfish are best kept solitary, due to their more aggressive nature. This fish is more likely to fight conspecifics rather than fish from different families. They will appreciate plenty of caves or rockwork to hide in. Like other cardinals, Flame Cardinals will typically accept most prepared foods.
