Description: A peaceful bristletooth tang, the Tomini Tang makes a wonderful addition to most reef tanks. The Tomini Tang is known for its gray body with striking, orange coloration on the angular tips of its dorsal and anal fins; along with a white caudal fin. This fish originates from the Western, Indo-Pacific. Seaweed is a big part of their diet, and they will help with algae control by grazing on pest algae in an aquarium. Protein skimmer and UV sterilizer are highly recommended, as tangs can be sensitive and prone to disease. Feeding vitamin C on their pellet food everyday can help prevent disease. Do not mix with other Ctenochaetus sp. tangs!
