Description: Sohal Tangs originate from Africa, more specifically the Red Sea. This fish is a prized tang and is absolutely elegant with its deep blue striping, and striking orange highlights by the pectoral fins and caudal, peduncle region. This tang can be mixed with other genera of tangs, but caution should be taken when mixing with other Acanthurus sp. If mixing with other Acanthurus sp., avoid those with a similar body shape (ex: Clown Tang) and the tank should be on the larger side. Due to this fish's aggressive nature, we recommend adding this tang in last to the tank. If a Sohal Tang is strongly established in an aquarium, it is hard to add new fish. Take caution!
