Description: The African Flameback Angel is similar to its Caribbean cousin in its bright orange and blue coloration. The only difference between the two angelfish is that the African variety has a clear caudal fin rather than a blue one. This is a great dwarf angelfish to add to a smaller, fish-only tank. Be sure to provide plenty of rockwork for this fish to pick at. Caution is needed when adding this fish to a reef tank, as they will pick at fleshy inverts. Do not mix the African Flameback Angel with other Centropyge sp. angelfish or fighting may ensue. This fish will appreciate a varied diet that includes: meaty foods, veggie-based foods, and Vitamin C-soaked pellets.
