Description: The Albino Pearl Stingray is extremely sensitive to water parameters. The Pearl River Stingray originates from the Tapajos River om Brazil. The albino variant is characterized by its golden base color with a white ring pattern. This fish should be housed in a very large aquarium or freshwater pond that includes large canister filters. It is better to over-filter the enclosure that this fish is housed in. The tank decor and community should be built around the Albino Pearl Stingray. The substrate in this fish's enclosure should be fine-grained sand or gravel to avoid damaging their underbelly. This fish prefers softer water with a pH that leans more towards the acidic range. Tannins in the water will also be beneficial to this fish, so provide driftwood or almond leaves. The Albino Pearl Stingray should not be housed with fish that can fit in its mouth or fish that can become overly aggressive. Large peaceful or predatory fish are ideal tank mates for this stingray.
