Description: The albino variant of the Adonis Pleco, this species is one of the largest individuals in the pleco family. These armored catfish originate from river basins along the Amazon River in South America. This fish would make a wonderful addition to large, predatory communities or "monster" fish tanks or ponds. Due to their large size, aquarists must be prepared to upgrade aquarium sizes when needed; however, this fish is a very slow grower, and it can take years before they reach full size. To mimic their natural environment, make sure to provide plenty of driftwood as they'll appreciate the tannins. The Albino Adonis Pleco is a great algae-eater, but it is important to provide some meaty foods to offer a balanced diet.
