Description: The Black Neon Tetra is a peaceful, schooling tetra originating from the Paraguay basin of Brazil. It is distinguished by its white and black horizontal stripes. It can be kept with other peaceful fish such as other tetras, barbs, cory catfish, etc. It should be kept in a school, ideally of six or more individuals. It is very hardy, which makes it an ideal cycling fish and highly sought after in the aquarium trade.
