Description: This is very peaceful schooling tetra originating from the Paraguay basin of Brazil. It is distinguished by its white and black horizontal stripes. It can be kept with other peaceful fish such as other tetras, barbs, cory catfish, and etc. It should bekept in a school ideally of 6 or more individuals. It is very hardy which makes it an ideal cycling fish and highly sought after in the aquarium trade.
