Chocolate Plecos are known to eat algae off the glass and decor. Take caution when adding them to smaller tanks, as they can get up to 18" in size. The Chocolate Pleco is named after its chocolate brown color. These Plecos mix well with most other fish in an appropriate sized tank, but take caution mixing with conspecifics.
