Description: The Batasio tigranus is one of the longer catfish we carry, getting over 24 inches in length. Currently around 5-6 inches, it would be possible to start in a 55 gallon, but it will need an upgrade as it grows. They're nocturnal hunters and quite predatory so be careful adding smaller cichlids. They have a brown, white, and black color scheme with a dark striped pattern. They would work well with larger cichlids that can't be swallowed.
