Description: The smiling acara is a peaceful South American Dwarf Cichlid, popular for their coloration and mouth shape that curves up, causing it to appear like it is smiling. They are considered to be community fish and will do best in planted tanks. They can be sensitive to water parameters and therefore are not beginner fish.
