Description: Albino Buenos Aires Tetras are a specific color morph bred from the natural-occurring Buenos Aires Tetra. The albino variant is known for its bright red fins, red eyes, and its pale, cream colored body. These tetras originate from South America and are omnivorous in nature. These tetras are best suited for semi-aggressive community tanks. This fish is best kept in schools of six or more to avoid nipping behavior on other tank mates. This fish may go after certain live plants, such as stem plants and crypts. Caution should be used when adding this fish to a live-planted aquarium. They should leave Java Fern, Anubias, and Vallisineria alone due to these plants' bad taste. Feed the Albino Buenos Aires Tetras a mix of tropical flakes or pellets along with algae-based foods to defer them from destroying any live plants.
