Description: Golden Silver Arowanas make a fantastic centerpiece fish for any large predatory tank. This variant has been bred from the wild Silver Arowana to achieve a pale gold, white coloration. The wild Silver Arowana originates from the Amazon River in South America, so water parameters should mimic that environment. The Golden Silver Arowana has a superior position of its mouth and will eat food that floats at the surface of the water. A tight-fitting lid on the aquarium is STRONGLY recommended as this fish can jump out of the water. Do not keep the Golden Silver Arowana with any small fish that can fit in their mouth, as they are opportunistic predators. They also cannot be housed with fish that become extremely aggressive, as the Golden Silver Arowana is defenseless from below.
