Black Ruby Barbs are active schooling fish that are best when kept in groups of 6+. This helps spread out aggression, and gives a nice size group that will help the males color up to their full potential! They typically have striking black stripes with bright reddish pink faces, but when ready to breed the male's body will darken up to a complete black coloration that makes the red face pop.
