Description: Melon Barbs have distinct pink and black patterning and an almost neon pink dorsal fin as it matures. These fish are active schoolers and do best in groups of 5 or more. Melon Barbs get around 6 inches when fully grown, and will do best in a tank that is at least 55 gallons. They do best in tanks with a tight fitting lid, due to their jumpy nature, and other large active community fish.
