Description: The Marble Wrasse is a beautiful, utilitarian fish that can help eat flatworms in reef aquaria. This wrasse has a white body with a black "checkerboard" pattern. Their dorsal and caudal fin are bright yellow. The face on this wrasse is a pale green with vibrant pink-orange striping. This fish originates from a wide range in the Indo-Pacific. The marble wrasse is reef safe where it will not bother corals, but it may prey upon cleanup crew and ornamental crustaceans when large enough. A tight fitting lid is a must as wrasses can easily jump out of the tank. This fish also requires a sandbed as the Marble Wrasse sleeps and hides in the sandbed. This is a hardy wrasse that will accept all prepared foods.
