Description: The Bamboo Flower Shrimp is a freshwater filter-feeding shrimp. They will situate themselves in a spot with good flow and actively filter feed. They do not have typical claws; instead, they possess "fans" that they will wave through the current to capture food. This shrimp can only be kept with peaceful community fish that will not prey on them. Live plants are highly recommended for their well-being. It is important to provide hiding spots, as shrimp are extremely vulnerable when they molt. The Bamboo Flower Shrimp's larvae need to develop in brackish conditions for the first part of their life.
