Description: The female Swallowtail Angel is known for its yellow dorsal and light-blue ventral coloration with a flared caudal fin. The male typically sports a light blue body with dark-blue vertical striping, and yellow accents. This angel is one of the best species to try in a reef tank, since they typically don't eat coral. In the wild, this species of angelfish typically live in harems. A harem can be achieved in a large home aquarium by adding a group of females, and the most dominant individual will transition into a male. A UV sterilizer and Protein Skimmer is required as this fish is prone to disease. Feeding Vitamin C on pellets everyday can help prevent diseases.
