Description: The Anthoides Hogfish has a red-orange face and a white body, with a red pattern and elongated caudal fin. This fish is one of the less aggressive hogfish, and should be kept in a larger fish-only tank with plenty of room to swim and hiding places. As a juvenile this fish acts as a cleaner, eating parasites off of larger fish; however, this behavior disappears as they reach maturity. The Anthoides Hogfish will appreciate a variety of meaty frozen foods and should be housed with other semi-aggressive fish.
