Description: Large solitary predator from river basins in Africa. Can be aggressive. Pair with large tank mates. Inhabits marginal vegetation and swamps. This fish does grow quite large in captivity, typically 48 inches. Feed a variety of frozen foods and carnivore pellets. Make sure to have a lot of decorations and hiding places. The Aba Aba Knife Fish is sensitive since they are small scaled.
