Description: The Cortez Angel is a beautiful angelfish that has distinct yellow and blue markings as a juvenile, and yellow and white striping on a dark black body as an adult. They are only endemic to the Sea of Cortez. These angelfish do nip at most fleshy coral, so be careful adding them to reef tanks. Do not house this fish with other Pomacanthus sp. angels. They are extremely susceptible to disease, so UV sterilization is a must!
