Description: This social cichlid prefers to have a friend or small group, but may take some time to warm up to you as they are usually shy. It would do great in a community tank with other medium peaceful fish. They are of greenish brown color with striped fins. There is a black stripe that goes from the eye to the end of the dorsal, and a black spot at the base of the tail. These cichlids originate from South America.
