Description: The French Angel is a beautiful black fish with striking yellow stripes as a juvenile. As this fish grows it will lose the yellow striping and will display a yellow, mottled scale pattern as an adult. This fish would make a wonderful addition to larger Fish-Only or FOWLR aquariums. This Angel originates from the Caribbean. Avoid mixing with other large Angels (especially Queen Angels and Gray Angels). This fish is not reef safe, but it is sensitive to disease so a UV sterilizer and protein skimmer are a must.
