Description: The Gold Head Sleeper Goby features a bright gold head and blue streak on a cream-colored body. It is a very timid fish that makes a great addition to the reef tank because of its longevity. The Gold Head Sleeper Goby uses shallow burrows in the substrate as refuge, keeping the substrate well-oxygenated. The Gold Head Sleeper Goby feeds off the bottom as it sifts through the sand. Its diet should include a variety of live and frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, live black worms, and prepared foods for carnivores. A thick sand bed is highly recommended due to its sifting nature. A tight-fitting lid is REQUIRED as they can jump out of the aquarium.
