Description: The Anthoides Hogfish has an orange face, a white body with a red pattern, and an elongated caudal fin. This fish is one of the less aggressive species of hogfish, and should be kept in a larger fish-only aquarium with plenty of room to swim. Provide plenty of hiding places for the Anthoides Hod to become acclimated to the tank. As a juvenile individual, this fish acts as a cleaner by eating parasites off of larger fish; however, this behavior disappears as they reach maturity. The Anthoides Hogfish will appreciate a variety of meaty frozen foods and should be housed with other semi-aggressive fish.
