Description: The Coris gaimard can be found throughout almost the entire Indo-Pacific. A beautiful wrasse that exhibits bright red and blue dots along the body with a yellow caudal fin. This is not the most reef-safe fish, as they will eat crustaceans. The tank will need a lid, as they are known to jump. This wrasse will also appreciate a thick sand bed of finer sand, as they like to bury themselves to sleep or rest. Do not mix with other Coris sp. or large wrasses.
